    Nook on North is just a short walk to downtown Saugatuck and nearby sister city Douglas. Voted Best Beach Town 2020 by Midwest Living Magazine, Saugatuck is known for its world- renowned art scene, wineries and breweries, vibrant LGBTQ community, boutique shopping, and gorgeous scenery. Foodies will find plentiful dining, from artisan sandwiches to vegan cuisine to high-end steak houses.

    Want to get active outside? Oval Beach is only a few minutes away, and Conde Nast Traveler has ranked it in the top 25 best shorelines in the world! That's right, the WORLD! State-known hiking and biking trails fill the area, and gorgeous state parks with majestic forested dunes line the shoreline. Fishing, boating, kayaking—you name it, we’ve got it! Other fun day activities include visiting one of the region’s many berry farms and orchards to pick your own delicious Michigan fruit, taking a thrilling dune ride (right next door), enjoying live music and theater, or touring one of many more charming towns dotting the Eastern shore of Lake Michigan.

  • We hope you never need to cancel your time away, but in the event that you do, guests are advised that any cancellation prior to 30 days will result in a $149 processing fee or 3.9% of the total reservation, whichever is greater. Cancellations between 7-30 days prior arrival date will result in a 50% forfeiture of total reservation plus $149 processing fee. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date will result in a 100% forfeiture of the total reservation. We recommend securing your trip with a travel insurance company should the need to cancel your reservation occur outside of the allotted window.

  • Your pup is on vacation too and we want them to be just as spoiled and comfortable! Each of our Pet Friendly Properties has a doggie basket filled with Food & Water Bowls, Waste Bags, Waterless Pet Shampoo, a Doggie Towel, Spot Remover, and some Treats. Please make us aware of your pets visit so we can prepare the property for them. Our Pet Fee is $145 and will be added to the total for the reservation.

  • We love the front screened in deck for morning coffee! We enjoyed the cozy cottage and walking our dogs around the neighborhood. It’s has a tranquil feel and the cottage is full of amenities. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are very nice. The kitchen is large with an adorable mid century modern dining set.

  • Very nice and clean home with all the comforts you expect of a vacation home. Had my elderly parents and their Labrador, and all were happy! Kitchen is well stocked with every utensil you’d want, and the we enjoyed the open space…pictures are very accurate. Nice neighborhood to walk the dog and the property is peaceful. A couple of things to note: the yard has great privacy fencing but not closed for a dog to run freely, and walk to town is about .75 mile (beautiful neighborhood) so wear comfortable shoes.

  • We had a fantastic stay! What really stood out to us was how well the property was prepared for our stay. The host has thought about and provided for every detail you can think of: high quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash in both bathrooms, well stocked towels, brand new kitchen utensils and cookware, board games, dishwashing detergent pods, laundry pods, clean and brand new laundry equipment, and fully stocked/clean linens. The host also provided a local guide that was extremely helpful for us planning our trip. Easy check in, great parking, great yard space, and a really fantastic host!
