Enter the front door to the bright main level, which features gorgeous hardwood floors, an airy chef’s kitchen fully stocked with all the basics you need to entertain at home, and flowing open concept spaces perfect for entertaining. Every room is connected to the natural beauty of this lakefront property with large windows and doors that let the outside in. Tastefully and comfortably furnished in subtle tones, the space has been tailor made for appreciating the stunning Lake Michigan sunset in cozy, laid-back style. Head back out to the wide front porch featuring outdoor seating and dining, or take a walk on the lush grounds. Soon, in spring 2024, steps will be completed to connect Weque South directly to the shore of Lake Michigan!
Your stay at Weque South will be both enjoyable and unforgettable. Ultra-comfortable bedrooms on the second floor and garden level are similarly connected to the unbelievable location and amazing view. Wake up on super-plush luxury linens, make yourself a hot beverage at our complementary locally sourced coffee and tea bar, and relax as you watch the sun shine on Lake Michigan, right from your private balcony. Bathrooms are updated, immaculately designed, and stocked with our artisanal bath products.

Weque South is located in the beautifully lush town of Fennville. Sprawling farmlands lead you to believe you are miles and miles away from civilization, when in fact you are mere minutes from some of the best culture Michigan has to offer! This area has been developing over the years and has quickly become a hotspot on the travel map, with its cute cafes, delicious restaurants, abundance of wineries and breweries, and plentiful orchards.
Only 10 minutes up the road you land in the darling towns of Saugatuck & Douglas. These sister towns have a storied history of incredible beauty, divine cuisine, and a killer art scene. From small businesses that have been operating for decades to fresh, new popups, there is something for everyone in this thriving cultural center voted Best Beach Town by Midwest Living Magazine.
The nearby Oval Beach is only 15 minutes away, and Conde Nast Traveler has ranked it in the top 25 best shorelines in the world! That's right, the WORLD! State-known hiking and biking trails fill the area, and gorgeous state parks with majestic forested dunes line the shoreline. There is no shortage of incredible offerings no matter what you're into. We hope you never need to cancel your time away, but in the event that you do, guests are advised that any cancellation prior to 30 days will result in a $149 processing fee or 3.9% of the total reservation, whichever is greater. Cancellations between 7-30 days prior arrival date will result in a 50% forfeiture of total reservation plus $149 processing fee. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date will result in a 100% forfeiture of the total reservation. We recommend securing your trip with a travel insurance company should the need to cancel your reservation occur outside of the allotted window.

Your pup is on vacation too and we want them to be just as spoiled and comfortable! Each of our Pet Friendly Properties has a doggie basket filled with Food & Water Bowls, Waste Bags, Waterless Pet Shampoo, a Doggie Towel, Spot Remover, and some Treats. Please make us aware of your pets visit so we can prepare the property for them. Our Pet Fee is $145 and will be added to the total for the reservation.
